Santo Antão, the island of mountains, valleys, ravines, plains, plateaus, beaches, and desert, is a place of contrasts and welcoming people.

Our circuit offers visitors unique and pleasant moments, allowing the discovery of the island’s main attractions. The journey begins on the Estrada da Corda, with privileged views of the most famous mountains, ravines, and valleys. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the Cova, a volcanic crater transformed into lush fields in the locality of Água das Caldeiras. In just a few kilometers, we travel from the desert to the mountains, crossing dramatic and exciting volcanic landscapes.

During the Beta Ecotour circuit, you will traverse a network of community paths and trails used daily by locals to sell agricultural products and fresh fruits from the island. This will allow visitors to get to know various villages and the local population, discovering their culture, art, history, vegetation, typical gastronomy, protected endemic areas and species, agricultural plantations, and sharing unforgettable moments of local life.
